About

Welcome, and thank you for venturing this far.

If you know anything about me, you may know I am drawn to the ways food, culture, and design help us understand who we are and how we relate to the world. As I was raised across the Gulf, educated in England, and now find myself firmly rooted in New Jersey, I’ve moved through multiple geographies and identities — and my work reflects that in-between space. These contexts have shaped my fascination with belonging, memory, and the quiet architecture of community.

This space is an ongoing inquiry into how culture travels, how taste becomes language, and how creative work can act as both archive and bridge. Here, I explore the stories we inherit and the ones we create, asking how aesthetics, history, and lived experience can deepen connection across borders, generations, and disciplines.

My approach is personal — rooted in research, observation, and care. I believe curiosity is a form of hospitality, and that beauty can make room for understanding. More than anything, I am interested in the possibilities that arise when we gather around ideas, meals, and shared imagination.

So, I invite you to wander, explore, and indulge your curiosity as you move through the projects and side quests I am journeying on through life.

With love,
Samia Jahangiri
